When choosing your solar inverter for your solar installation in the Geelong region make sure your inverter is certified.

Are your inverters and power conditioning equipment (PCE) certified to IEC 62109?Inverters and PCE must comply with the IEC 62109 standard from 11 July 2015, less than six months from now.The installation of earth fault alarms for both functionally and non-functionally earthed arrays will also be mandatory from this date.

To maintain approved status for a product, you must provide the Clean Energy Council with a valid Certificate of Approval showing compliance to IEC 62109 by 11 July 2015. If you do not do this, your products will be removed from the approved products list.
